Hey lovelies 💜
There comes a moment in your life when something shifts.
Not on the outside… but on the inside.
For me, that moment was when I realized I had been waiting.
Waiting for validation.
Waiting for the “right time.”
Waiting for someone else to recognize what I already knew about myself.
And the truth is… I didn’t need any of that.
I already knew who I was.
I already knew what I was capable of.
I was just hesitating to fully step into it.
The Truth About Waiting
Waiting can feel safe.
It feels like preparation.
It feels like responsibility.
It feels like you’re doing the “right thing.”
But sometimes… waiting is just fear dressed up as patience.
I had to be honest with myself.
I wasn’t waiting because I needed more time.
I was waiting because I wasn’t fully trusting myself yet.
The Shift Into Leadership
Stepping into leadership didn’t come with a title.
It came with a decision.
A decision to:
Speak up, even when it felt uncomfortable
Show up, even when I felt unsure
Trust myself, even when I didn’t have all the answers
Leadership isn’t something someone hands you.
It’s something you step into.
What Changed For Me
Once I stopped waiting, everything started to shift.
I trusted my voice more.
I stopped shrinking myself in rooms where I knew I belonged.
I started showing up as the version of myself I had been holding back.
And no… it wasn’t easy.
Growth never is.
But it was necessary.

I talk more about this in my very first podcast episode:
From Nurse to Leader: The Moment I Stopped Waiting
Final Thoughts
This is your reminder:
Stop waiting.
Stop shrinking.
Stop questioning what you already know.
You are ready.
And as always… keep growing, keep showing up, and keep becoming everything you were created to be 💜
